Tithe Barn is a 16th century luxury wedding barn on the Bolton Abbey Estate in North Yorkshire. I absolutely love photographing this venue as it such a gorgeous large space. It has such a lovely atmosphere with the candles and stunning chandeliers. Sarah mentioned to me how important the bridesmaids and groomsmen were in the lead up to the wedding. She was planning an incredible hen do in Amsterdam and an equally fabulous stag do in Budapest. The night before the wedding, James stayed at the Devonshire Fell with his best man and Sarah stayed at the Devonshire Arms with her bridesmaids. Siobhan was rubbing the complimentary temple spa foot cream onto her feet while Hannah blow dried her hair – she was truly pampered for the big day! ## A Wedding Ceremony at Tithe Barn The ceremony went without a hitch. Sarah looked absolutely stunning walking down the aisle with her Dad. Although he didn’t look it, I heard later that apparently James was incredibly nervous before the ceremony, and was still shaking when it came to signing the register! He took it all in his stride though and had a big grin on his face for the whole day. He did a fabulous speech during dinner as did Adrian, the best man, who had everyone in stitches. I was so impressed with this crowd when it came to the dancing. After James had whisked his bride around for the first dance, everyone piled on the dancefloor and rocked the night away. This was a wedding with a brilliant atmosphere and fabulous sunshine all day. What more could you ask for!
