ABOUT ME

I grew up in Derbyshire surrounded by the beauty of the Peak District. I later lived and worked in the USA and Sweden (where I met my husband), and eventually found my way back to England and our home in Yorkshire. Along the way, my experiences have shaped how I see the world and how I photograph it, with curiosity, intention, and a genuine love for people, places, and authentic connection.

I remember holding my first professional camera on my 21st birthday, and knowing it would play a defining role in my life. I took it everywhere. And for years I worked tirelessly outdoors, dragging my kit across hills, forests, and remote landscapes to learn how to work instinctively with natural light and how to create strong, considered compositions in ever-changing conditions.

Before dedicating myself to wedding photography full time, I focused on my academic career, working as a researcher for leading universities in the UK and USA, including UCL and MIT. My scientific education and experience working within exacting environments inspired me to the highest standards of precision and organisation. Now, with over 15 years of experience in Yorkshire wedding photography, I use those skills to approach your celebration with a flawless attention to detail so you can relax and remain fully present, knowing everything is being expertly taken care of as you enjoy every minute with your family and friends.
