Natural Wedding Photography

Congratualtions on your upcoming wedding! I would love to photograph your big day.

No two weddings are the same. Every person, every couple and every event is unique and it is always my priority to capture the true character of your day in my images. I use a skilful blend of natural, documentary wedding photography and creative portraiture to give you a set of natural, authentic and artistic images that tell the full story of your wedding.

I typically photograph the whole day from the preparations right through to the dancing. By dancing I don’t mean that I leave after your first dance. I do stay for an hour to capture all the crazy action with friends and family on the dancefloor!

CREATIVE  STORYTELLING

A wedding takes so much preparation but passes by so fast. This is why it is so important to capture the energy, interactions and emotion in all those unique moments that occur throughout the day, before they fade into memory. My photojournalistic style means I’m not interested in fake grins or posing people. I have a very hands-off, unobtrusive approach to capturing all those moments, details, emotions and personalities that make your day so special to you. Every wedding is different and I consider it very important to capture the personality and atmosphere of each individual event. ARTISTIC COUPLE PORTRAITS

Most couples also want a few artistic portraits of themselves utilising their venue surroundings and interiors. I also usually spend around 15-30 mins on the day directing you in a very natural way for a few creative, high-impact portraits. I keep this brief so you don’t have to spend too long away from your guests, and natural and unposed so you can feel comfortable in front of the camera.

I love to incorporate scenery, landscapes, colour and beautiful light in to my images to create vibrant, dynamic, modern portraits that also reflect the time and place you were married. I’ll happily follow you up a mountain on your big day if you’ve chosen a wedding venue with some stunning surroundings.

I really enjoy connecting with my couples and giving them a relaxed and stress-free experience. I keep the whole process fun and laid-back making sure I understand what is most important to you. I’ve been told many times that I’m pretty good at making my couples feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

Kirsty is really fun to work with. She is very professional and she made the experience of having our wedding photographs taken very low stress, which meant we were able to relax and have fun in her company.
