Paige and Jordan’s wedding day at Allerton Castle was nothing short of magical. Blessed with brilliant weather from morning to evening, their celebration was a perfect blend of elegance, joy, and unforgettable moments.
From the start of the day, the excitement was palpable. Paige and her bridesmaids shared endless laughter as they got ready, filling the grand rooms of the castle with energy and happiness. Paige was absolutely full of joy, which was contagious to everyone around her. She and the bridesmaids danced and joked, creating a lighthearted atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Jordan and his groomsmen were equally full of energy and having a fun game of pool in the billiards room. Jordan, looking every bit the dashing groom, had a great time getting ready with his groomsmen and took a quiet moment to reflect before stepping into the grand setting where he would soon see Paige.
Their ceremony took place in the stunning Great Hall, a setting that really amplified the emotion of the day. With its soaring ceilings and gothic architecture, it provided a very dramatic backdrop to the proceedings. Paige descended the grand staircase with her father on her arm. She was an absolute dream to photograph—she moved with such grace and poise, gracefully reflecting the timeless beauty of the historic venue. She looked like a true princess in a castle, which, I know, was exactly the kind of wedding she had always dreamed of! As the couple said their wedding vows to each other, I could see that the guests were captivated by the romance and sincerity between them, making it a truly special moment.
After the ceremony Paige and Jordan walked back down the aisle as newlyweds, throwing their hands up in celebration to the sound of cheers and applause from their guests. Next, the confetti tunnel stole the show! Jordan dipped Paige mid-walk, and the crowd erupted in cheers, making it one of the day’s most unforgettable moments. After the couple had had some time to sample the canapés and chat to their guests in the gardens, we took some time out for a stroll around the castle grounds so I could capture some natural portraits of them. Allerton Castle is spoilt for choice when it comes to stunning backdrops for the photography. From views of the castle from the lake to gorgeous interiors with impressive architecture and sparkling chandeliers. The couple love photography so we made the most of these areas to get a variety of shots of them together.
Next it was time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches. Paige and Jordan walked into the ballroom to be welcomed by their guests with much applause. The speeches went so well and were all very amusing and also quite touching. There was a lot of laughter and not a few tears from top table and the audience! As evening drew closer, the couples day came to a close with the cutting of the cake and the first dance. Paige made a dramatic entrance again down the great staircase and Jordan took her hand and whisked her around the dance floor. Finally, one of the most unforgettable parts of the day was the sunset. Paige and Jordan stepped outside into the golden light, and I got another opportunity to capture some more beautiful shots of them together.
From start to finish, Paige and Jordan’s wedding day was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and the kind of beauty that leaves a lasting impression. It was an absolute privilege to capture such a fun and down-to-earth couple at such an incredible venue. What a day to remember!
