Family group shots on a wedding day are a lovely pause in the flow—a chance to gather the people who mean the most and create something timeless and beautifully composed. I genuinely enjoy crafting a handful of relaxed, elegant group portraits that feel natural rather than stiff, giving you images that will live on long after the day. That said, my heart very much lies in a documentary approach, quietly capturing real moments as they unfold, so most of my couples prefer to keep group shots to a minimum. It means we can spend less time organising and more time soaking up the atmosphere, laughter, and fleeting in-between moments that truly tell the story of your day.
