My skills, personality, and preparation ensure your experience is relaxed, fun, and stress-free.

I usually arrive early to capture the excitement of the preparations and stay until I have plenty of lively photographs from the dance floor. As soon as we meet, we’ll talk through what you need and create a personalised photography schedule that allows your day to unfold naturally.

That is why it is so important to me that I capture the energy, interactions, and emotions that make up your day. My signature photojournalistic style is all about expressions of real joy and authentic connection. Without forced poses or staging, I document the full story and special atmosphere of your wedding to make your photos a testament to those you love and love you back. Every wedding is different and I consider it very important to capture the personality and atmosphere of each individual event.

Authentic PORTRAITS

With so many stunning venues and landscapes for wedding photography in Yorkshire and the Lake District, most of the couples I work with want a few artistic portraits of themselves that capture their location and surroundings. If that sounds like you, we’ll spend 15-30 minutes together creating photos you’ll be proud to share. I will keep any portrait sessions brief so you can get back to your guests, whilst providing gentle guidance to help you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

You can count on me to incorporate scenery, colour and beautiful light into my photographs, and to bring you vibrant, dynamic, modern portraits that reflect the time and place. If you’re envisioning photos at a location other than your wedding venue, I would love to be your guide to the most picturesque places in Yorkshire and beyond. EXPERIENCE and industry recognition

Originally trained by top UK photographers in all aspects of photography including analog, portraiture, lighting, and digital image editing, I am dedicated to the art and the craft. I have extensive experience in creative lighting and flash photography which makes it easy for me to create stunning photographs whatever the weather, in any lighting condition. My work has been published on an array of wedding and educational platforms including The Wedding Affair, Brides up North, Today’s Family Magazine, and the Photography Academy, as well as in magazines such as Belle Bridal and Yorkshire Life.

I am a qualified photographer with the Guild of Professional Wedding Photographers and have won numerous international awards with the Masters of Wedding Photography and the prestigious  World’s Best Wedding Photos.  I have also recently been awarded the position of top 20 photographers worldwide with Fearless Photographers which hosts one of the largest and most respected international photography competitions.

Kirsty is really fun to work with. She is very professional and she made the experience of having our wedding photographs taken very low stress, which meant we were able to relax and have fun in her company. She was very unobtrusive throughout the day but was there when we needed her for those special shots. We also loved seeing all the candid moments she captured, some of which we did not even know happened on the day! The images are stunning and edited beautifully and exactly in the style that we were looking for. They tell a beautiful cohesive story of our wedding day.
