I was so pleased to be photographing another Ripley Castle wedding. This is a fabulously romantic venue and we had perfect weather for Natalie and David’s big day. Natalie and her bridesmaids got ready at home whilst David met up with his groomsmen at The Boar’s Head, a local pub at Ripley, before the ceremony. I arrived to a very busy household filled with family, bridesmaids and three very energetic flower girls. It was a fabulous morning with preparations and lots of fun photos.

The ceremony was being held at the castle and Natalie looked absolutely stunning walking down the ailse with her Dad in her Pronovias gown. David also scrubbed up pretty well and looked very pleased to see Natalie! The ceremony room is beautiful with large mirrors and lovely big windows letting in plenty of light, there were some lovely readings and the couple walked out to much applause. This was followed by a fabulous confetti line, I do love a good confetti shot!

The rest of the day went really well. The  weather stayed nice all day and allowed the guests to mull about on the lawns and walk around the grounds with a few canapés and a glass or two. We also took advantage of the grounds for some couple photos by the water and in the gardens. Soon it was time for the wedding breakfast which ended with a few excellent speeches that certainly produced a few laughs from the top table and the audience. It was still light after dinner so we popped outside for a couple of extra couple shots and then finished the night with a fabulous first dance.

Thanks so much to Natalie and David for choosing me as Your Ripley Castle wedding photographer and it was a pleasure to photograph your day. Thanks also to the family and friends and staff at Ripley that made us feel so welcome and fun to work with.
