Lauren and Rob had a beautiful wedding day at Rudding Park Hotel. This is a privately owned hotel close to Harrogate and is set in 300 acres of lovely landscaped garden and woodlands. The daffodils were out and the sun was shining. I arrived to find the girls looking out of the bridal suite window, champagne glasses in hand and taking in the lovely weather and scenery. The girls were in fantastic spirits and Lauren was very excited for the day ahead. I loved the energy in the room and there was lots of activity to photograph. At one point I also popped down to see Rob and the groomsmen who were outside attaching buttonholes and having fabulous time checking out the estate and greeting guests.
I could just tell that this day was going to have a brilliant atmosphere, there were a lot of fun characters, friendly guests and a lot of happiness in the air. Guests were laughing and chatting to Rob in the ceremony room whilst Lauren and the girls put the finishing touches to their preparations. Lauren had such beautiful bouquet of pink and orange tulips by Flower by Colette and she looked amazing in her stunning white dress with lace detail. Soon she was walking into the ceremony room with her Dad and Rob looked very pleased to see her at the top of the aisle.
The ceremony was lovely with lots of smiles and laugher and the couple walked out to much applause. They were straight into a long confetti tunnel outside where guests enjoyed bombarding them with handfuls of dried petals. After lots of hugs and congratulations and a few very fun groups shots, the couple spent some time walking around the estate for some portraits. We made use of the lovely grounds and daffodils for some natural couple photographs of Rob and Lauren spending a little time out together.
The day continued with the wedding breakfast and lots of very fun speeches which got great reactions from the audience. Finally it was time for the couple’s first dance. Rob did a fabulous job of whisking Lauren around the dance floor before lots of guests joined them to rock the night away. This was an absolutely fabulous day and I loved the atmosphere. You could not ask for a better group of people and I wish all the best to Lauren and Rob for their future together.
