The Mansion Leeds Wedding Photography | Leeds Wedding Photographer

We had a fabulous day for Emma and Adam’s wedding at The Mansion in Leeds. This is a stunning listed classical building on the edge of Roundhay Park with lovely views over lakes and landscaped gardens. I arrived to meet Emma in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids and family members. Everyone was in fine spirits and excited for the day ahead. Meanwhile Adam was downstairs with his groomsmen attaching buttonholes, relaxing with a couple of beers and playing the guitar.

Leeds Wedding Ceremony

Soon it was time for the ceremony and Emma descended the grand staircase with her Mum, brother and bridesmaids and was soon walking down the aisle to meet her husband to be. She looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and Adam, although a little nervous, looked very happy to see his gorgeous bride. The ceremony went without a hitch with some lovely readings and the couple walked out to much applause.

Wedding Portraits in the Park

The weather was pretty good for the whole day so the guests were able to enjoy their canapés and champagne outside on the terrace. Once the family group shots were taken I whisked Emma and Adam off into the park for a few natural portraits in the grounds and gardens. The park provided many photo opportunities and we even managed to dodge the Saturday crowds to get some lovely landscape shots. We also managed to get some photographs inside the Mansion on the staircase under the very spectacular crystal chandelier.

The Mansion Wedding Reception

Soon it was time for the wedding breakfast and the couple greeted a very long receiving line of guests before entering the room. The speeches were all excellent and had the crowd in stitches. In particular, the best man who I must say was particularly entertaining with some very funny anacedotes. The evening continued with the cake cutting and then a fabulous first dance. Adam whisked his bride around the dance floor and ended with a very impressive swoop at the end, much to Emma’s surprise I think!

This was a fabulous wedding with an impressive venue and a great atmosphere. Thank you Emma and Adam for choosing me as your Mansion Leeds Wedding photographer and all the best for your future lives together. For further information please see the bottom of the post

Kirsty, we cannot thank you enough for creating the most beautiful photographs of our wedding day. You were professional, understanding and captured our enjoyment, our guests and those important touches that made our day unique to us. We choose you as your work is in the moment, not just creating those formal shots you always want as part of your album but informal natural shots. We will cherish our photographs forever. Thank you so much!
