If you are looking for a photographer who is experienced covering Wharfedale Grange weddings then you have come to the right place. I absolutely love photographing weddings at this gorgeous, luxury barn venue. Wharfedale Grange used to be a working farm and has had an incredible transformation into an elegant wedding venue. The combination of rustic elegance and sumptuous interiors with quirky designs really makes for a unique luxurious place to get married. It’s also very conveniently nestled in between Leeds and Harrogate on the A61.

I particularly love the lighting at Wharfedale Grange, which really allows for some beautiful wedding photography. The North Barn, which is used for the ceremonies, has a curtain of thousands of twinkling fairy lights. In addition, the the glistening chandeliers throughout the venue makes for a really romantic feel.

The South Barn which is used for the wedding reception is equally gorgeous, with designer tables and a huge rose gold mirror ball which is the centrepiece of the dance floor. I particularly love the fact that they make a big show of any cake cutting or bouquet throwing by doing this in the middle of the dance floor. Couples can also choose to have the famous Wharfedale Grange confetti canons for their first dance, which makes for some pretty epic photography! In fact, confetti is a big thing at Wharfedale Grange. You can have it outside in the courtyard, inside under the balcony or on the dance floor. See examples below;

A great tip if you are getting married at Wharfedale Grange

My biggest tip for your wedding at Wharfedale Grange is to get ready for the big day in the gorgeous Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse onsite. You can even stay there overnight with your bridal party as it has six bedrooms. This house is a photographer’s and a bride’s dream! It is sumptuous, elegant, luxurious and equipped with fine furnishings and gorgeous lighting. Ella choose to get ready for her big day at the farmhouse with her fabulous bride tribe. Creative, Natural Wedding Photography at Wharfedale Grange

I’m primarily a documentary style wedding photographer which means I have a very natural approach to capturing your day. I’m not interested in fake grins or posing people. My aim is always to capture how your day feels not just how it looks, by photographing moments that have real meaning. I’m all about the laughter, the joy, the tears and the personalities and really photographing the character of your day. That’s not to say I won’t make some beautiful creative portraits, which I love doing,  but these will also be done in a very natural way.

I also won’t take you away from your guests for a long time for group shots. Of course, I always include group shots if you would like but I get these done quickly and efficiently so you can get back to chatting with your guests.
