A luxury wedding venue in East Yorkshire
I was so pleased to be chosen by Beth and Nick for their Saltmarshe Hall wedding photography. They had planned their whole wedding day at this stunning East Yorkshire wedding venue.
Saltmarshe Hall is a grade II listed 19th century country House in Saltmarshe, Yorkshire, right on the river Ouse. It has 17 acres of stunning grounds and picturesque views, with wooded areas and a secluded walled garden. It is the perfect intimate wedding venue as you get the whole place to yourselves!

A sunny garden wedding ceremony
Beth got ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids and family members then the bridal party descended the stairs and took a stroll through the grounds to the stunning walled garden area where the ceremony was being held. The weather was incredible for the whole day with sunshine and blue skies. Nick looked so pleased to see his gorgeous bride and the ceremony went without a hitch under a beautiful flower arch. Nick and Beth left the gardens to much applause followed by a showering of confetti on the Saltmarshe Hall steps.

The rest of the day flew by with lots of champagne, canapés and many very happy family and friends. The wedding breakfast was held in morning room. A lovely airy room, filled with natural light and decorated in green, white and gold with flowers, candles and wedding favours arranged by the couple. After dinner the couple took a stroll in the golden evening light and watched the sun start to set on the banks of the river. I took the opportunity to take a few last portraits. Finally they returned to the house for the evening celebrations and Nick whisked Beth onto the dance floor for their first dance.All in all this was a fabulous day, with gorgeous weather and a stunning venue.
